Leo
Age 7
East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) - Quidenham
"Jason"
Leo is seven years old and lives with his sister Evelyn and his mum and stepdad.
Leo and his family were referred to East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), Quidenham hospice as Leo's brother, Arlo, had Zellweger syndrome. This is a rare genetic condition with many symptoms including: enlarged liver, high levels of iron and copper in the blood, vision disturbances and lack of muscle tone.
Sadly there is no cure for Zellweger syndrome and Arlo died at home in July 2009.
EACH has provided care and support for Leo and his family including nursing care at home for Arlo, visits to the hospice as a family, sibling group support for Evelyn and Leo as well as pre and post-bereavement support for the family.
Speaking about his artwork and experiences at EACH, Leo said: "I like playing football and my favourite team is Manchester United. I like Quidenham Children's Hospice because they make me banana milkshakes. My hero is my friend Jason because he helps me and cares for me. In my picture Jason is shooting the bad guys".
