"Adventures of Wayne Rooney - My Hero"

Richard is 16 years old and is an avid Manchester United fan and like any typical teenage boy follows them religiously. Richard has chosen the Manchester United star player, Wayne Rooney as his hero.

Richard said he chose Wayne Rooney for his artwork, as Wayne is his favourite footballer. His skills on the football pitch have made him one of the most talented footballers in the premier league. Richard feels that Wayne's early rise to stardom with Everton football club is an inspiration to all football enthusiasts who dream of making the big leap into professional football.

Richard had the pleasure of meeting Wayne and his fellow Manchester United players at a training session. He found Wayne to be every bit the hero as he thought he would be. Down to earth, friendly and football mad of course!

Richard has paid homage to the well known comparison between Wayne and the animated character of Shrek in his art piece. Richard said that although he may not be the best looking player in football, Wayne's skills on the pitch speak volumes. Richard thinks it is a good sign of Wayne's personality that a big sports star like him can take a joke, especially when it comes to something like looks.

Wayne Rooney rose to fame as a teenager, and as a teenager himself, Richard feels that Wayne is a perfect hero for all teenagers and football fans.
