Aaron

Age 16

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) - Milton

"Venom"

Aaron is 16 years old and was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy at the age of four. He has been supported by East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), Milton hospice for ten years.

Spending all of his time in a wheelchair, and with limited and decreasing mobility, the challenge of creating a piece of art initially proved difficult for Aaron.

Aaron is able to move his hands and fingers a small amount and his love of IT has helped him to create a dramatic and eyecatching piece of computer generated comic art featuring Venom from Spiderman.

Aaron is incredibly positive and always has a smile on his face. He said: "Venom is my hero because he is big and strong and fights crime."

Aaron's grandad and guardian, David, is incredibly proud of his grandson and says everyone who meets him is moved by his strength, determination and warmth.

He said: "Aaron is one in a million and such an inspiration to us all. He doesn't let anything get in his way and is always happy!"
