Chloe is 15 years old. She has cystic fibrosis - a genetic disease of the mucus glands which affects the respiratory and digestive systems.

Chloe has been accessing hospice services since she was just nine years old and she is currently being cared for by East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), Ipswich hospice.

Chloe's hero is Karen Jane who has worked for several years as part of the play team at Chloe's local hospital. Karen Jane recently qualified as a play specialist.

Chloe said: "Karen Jane is my hero; she is here for me whenever my mum isn't. She makes me smile and helps me to keep strong. She has come with me to different hospitals when I need procedures and she helps me to keep calm and relaxed. She helps me to find the good things in life when things seem bad. I am always happy when I am with her."
