"Super gran"
Hello my name is Callum and I am nine years old. I have a number of conditions including: Chiari malformation, slit ventricle syndrome, hydrocephalus and epilepsy.
I love my food but sometimes I have to have my drink and medicines through a button in my tummy. Due to my condition I have lots of hospital visits and encouragement to sit still and rest, as I can get very tired.
Recently my mummy has been very poorly and she had to go to hospital for treatment which made her very tired. My daddy had a lot to do with needing to look after me and my brother, so my gran offered to help out. Gran has had me over to stay at her house and taken me out for day trips to help my mummy and daddy. When mummy was really tired gran took me to school and when I was upset she was there to give me lots of cuddles. Gran has been a great support to us and at times I don't know what I would have done without her. My gran is indeed a super gran.
