"Mamma Mia"

Hi, my name is Michelle. I am 18 years old.

My hero is my mum and that's because no matter what, she has always been the one who's there to care for me - all day, every day. The heart represents the love my mum has for everyone, and in return the love everyone has for her. The arrow pierced through the heart symbols that my mum has not only been through the good times with everybody but also any times of pain that we might have been through. Within the centre of love and pain there is my mum and her children, there are six of us girls and two boys. My mum doesn't have favourites and everyone gets treated the same, that's why each stick figure is roughly the same size.

On top of the heart is a sun. This represents that everybody who is in the presence of my mum feels happy and warm, as if nothing can go wrong. The song lyrics Mamma Mia were chosen because Abba is my mum's favourite music. Every time I hear any Abba song it will always remind me of how amazing my mum is. The blue cloud in the bottom right corner symbolises a breath of fresh air that my mum brings in her presence to calm situations and gracefully brings a sense of homely nature with her.
